Dixon Baxi x Mash Creative - Join The Dots
Dixon Baxi have approached 100 creatives to participate in this series (including Mash Creative). Each collaborator is given a template of a dot in a fixed position on an A2 portrait poster and told to interpret this in their own way.

The piece we submitted was titled "Grid Efficiency". A lot of our work has been inspired by the classic International Typographic Style made famous by greats such as Wim Crouwel, particularly the use of grid systems. Our poster uses shapes set inside a column grid system that all blend together to make the final piece. If you look closely at the detail you may notice that every shape used seamlessly lines up with the next - so for example a triangle will be exactly half the size of a box, the box will line up with a diagonal line etc.

The poster was expertly screen printed by Daniel Mather in fluorescent green ink as an edition of 10 (not for resale).

Due to the success of the 'Join the Dot' series, Dixon Baxi is currently considering the series to be made into an exhibition and book.
